Proven Results

These guys are an inspiration to all trying to get faster or simply better. They are clean and have been using the blessings that have been given to them. They then applied hard work and EFS’s proven effective training system to get even better. And they still haven’t reached their full potential yet.

How far can they go? How far can you go?

Matt Martini is a strong runner and gives the impression of running like a machine. This summer (2005) Matt broke our 40 yard dash record again by running a 4.59sec 40 yard dash at EFS. We timed him at a 4.73 at the beginning of the summer. He then dedicated himself to train 3 days per week for one and 1/2 months. Clearly his hard work and smart work at EFS has paid off. Last year he had our old record of 4.68. He is going to be a college sophomore football player this year. He tells us he is the fastest guy on his college team. Running like this doesn’t usually happen over night. Matt was a receiver at Los Gatos High School and has trained with us on 3 different occasions over the last 3 years. The first time he trained with us he brought former Los Gatos High speedster and standout running back Danny Bates with him (to train) which I’m sure motivated him to train hard. Matt clearly has reached a level where he now is an inspiration to other athletes. What is even more exciting is that Matt definitely has the potential to run faster. Great Job Matt!

JJ Goulden has for a long time run well, but for the most part he’s been a thin and smooth runner and not very strong. Recently he has been getting stronger and his form shows it, as well as his times. JJ works at EFS, helping maintain the facility, demonstrating drills and helping oversee some speed classes. He also uses our Extreme Training program to get faster & stronger. JJ never had any speed records here at EFS but has at times been close. Naturally when JJ heard Matt set our new 40 yd dash record JJ was inspired to make a mark of his own. As a senior at Pioneer High School, JJ felt he could now challenge Matt. And challenge he did. JJ Recorded a 4.49sec 40 yard dash here at EFS, and he looked smooth, but now he also looked strong. What a time for a high school senior receiver! What a time for anyone at any level! So Matt now that you have inspired JJ, you may be inspired by him to get even faster as well.

Eric Newton is a baseball player at Santa Clara University. He went to high school locally (Leland). Eric led his Santa Clara U. team in home runs last year. As a hard worker (and the sky his limit) Eric set out to maximize his preparation for baseball by training at EFS this last fall. Eric already ran well to begin with, but wanted to be ahead of his competition and see how far he could go. He set out to train 3x per week and after only one month his scores were impressive. Unfortunately his schedule between school & baseball are demanding and he took some time off in November. We plan to see him in the future at EFS and it appears that he probably will continue to get faster when he trains with us. UPDATE: Eric Newton has just been drafted by the Milwalkee Brewers (in 2006).

Meleah Guillardo is a youth softball player in the South Bay Area. She started training at EFS to get faster and better prepared for softball.  She is 12 years old and has a great hard working attitude. By the way, a positive attitude and hard work are essential ingredients to improvement. They are the first 2 steps. The 3rd is smart work which is where EFS steps in.  She trains 2x per week and as you can see things are working out well for her since she has been at EFS. She will likely continue to improve, as most do over a period of time when using our system.

While at EFS, Eric Cutler has tapped into a tremendous source of potential. Because he is still young (only 15 years old) and has used our program only once so far, it would be reasonable to assume that his potential is not fully tapped yet. If we see him in the future it will be interesting to see how far he can go in terms of improvement. He trained 2x per week and had a brief lapse due to a hamstring irritation, but recovered quite well and scored exceptionally well.  The results speak for themselves.
